About the company:

Timorous Beasties is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary textiles studio focusing on hand and digitally printed fabrics, wallpaper, bespoke design commissions, and unique brand collaborations. With showrooms in Glasgow, London, and Berlin, the studio, founded in 1990, creates original designs to the highest standards and has worked on special projects such as large-scale architectural inventions, interiors, book covers as well as brand partnerships.

About the role:

  • Day to day running and maintenance of the showroom.
  • Ensure product and window displays are up to date and reflect TB brand standard.
  • Managing sales from product presentation through to ordering, follow up and client support - To include design consultancy service to key clients using In Design and Sketch Up programmes.
  • Management of showroom sampling and collection book libraries
  • Ensure stock levels are up to date and that new collections are available to view within the showroom from launch date.
  • Arrange client showroom launches of new collections/products.
  • Manage general showroom administration to include utilities and maintenance bills.
  • Work closely with A&D Project Manager to support London and southern territory sales.
  • Support and maintain relationships with key London TB stockists
  • Management and support of showroom assistant.

Expected qualifications and experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience, working at management level in a retail or showroom environment.
  • A natural salesperson providing an exemplary level of customer service.
  • Knowledge and flair for interiors and design
  • Have fantastic personal skills to communicate professionally and confidently with clients in the showroom, and by phone and by email.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and have a high level of initiative with excellent attention to detail.
  • A good team player, willing to muck in and get your hands dirty.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • To be a knowledgeable and enthusiastic ambassador for Timorous Beasties London
