About the Company

JAMESON SEATING LTD contract furniture and soft furnishings manufacturer based in the Midlands. This is a new role being created for a Business Development Manager to help us grow and maintain our client base. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and securing new customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales within the hospitality and care sector and will be able to build long-lasting relationships with customers through customer service.

About the Role:

  • Identify, research, and develop new leads with both end users and interior designers.
  • Some project management allowing you to manage from beginning to end.
  • Prepare weekly reports on progress made with leads, prospects, and existing prospects.
  • Assist with other ad hoc duties such as having an influence over updating the website, product development, advertising etc.
  • Build relationships with clients by providing excellent service and product knowledge.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar field preferred.
  • Knowledge of contract furniture and/or soft furnishings would be advantageous.
  • Have a passion for the industry.
  • Must have proven track record of excellent sales performance.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and be comfortable working with data.
  • Work Location: On the road
