Event Overview
Glasgow Design Exchange is a curated Commercial Interiors UK event bringing together 16 participating design studios and 16 Accredited Member companies through a programme of pre-arranged meetings and an evening networking reception and three-course dinner.
Participation in the event constitutes acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions.
Accredited Member Participation
Eligibility
Participation is open exclusively to Commercial Interiors UK Accredited Members.
Each ticket admits two representatives from the purchasing company.
Ticket Price
Tickets are priced at £1,000 + VAT.
Participation is limited to 16 Accredited Member companies, with tickets allocated on a first come, first served basis.
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of payment and confirmation from Commercial Interiors UK.
Ticket Inclusions
Each ticket includes:
- Participation for two company representatives
- Eight guaranteed 30-minute meetings
- Personalised meeting itinerary
- Evening networking reception and three-course dinner for both delegates
- The opertunity to meet the remaining 8 studios at the evening event
No additional evening dinner tickets are available.
Meeting Selection
Following confirmation of your booking, ticket holders will receive profiles for each participating design studio.
Ticket holders will submit a priority list of the 12 studios they would most like to meet.
Commercial Interiors UK will make every reasonable effort to allocate meetings with the selected studios; however, specific meetings cannot be guaranteed.
Meeting schedules are final once issued.
Attendance
Both delegates are expected to attend the daytime meetings together.
Delegates should attend all scheduled meetings and the evening networking reception and dinner.
Should one delegate become unavailable, a substitute representative from the same Accredited Member company may attend, provided Commercial Interiors UK is notified in advance.
Travel Between Studios
Ticket holders are responsible for arranging and funding their own travel between participating design studios throughout the day.
Meetings will typically be reached on foot or by taxi/Uber.
Commercial Interiors UK will provide a personalised itinerary, studio addresses, travel guidance and maps, together with sufficient travel time between appointments.
Timekeeping
Ticket holders are required to:
- Arrive punctually for every scheduled meeting.
- Conclude meetings within the allocated 30-minute slot.
- Leave promptly to allow sufficient travel time to the next appointment.
The success of the event relies upon all participants adhering to the published timetable.
Cancellation
Tickets are non-refundable.
If a delegate is unable to attend, a substitute representative from the same Accredited Member company may attend, provided Commercial Interiors UK is notified before the event.
Design Studio Participation
Participating design studios agree to:
- Host scheduled meetings throughout the day.
- Provide accurate information for the creation of their Design Studio Profile.
- Make senior designers and decision-makers available throughout the event or, where more appropriate, relevant product and sector specialists.
- Provide an appropriate meeting space, including a table or suitable surface where samples, materials and product information can be shared.
- Ensure meetings begin and conclude within the allocated 30-minute slot.
- Support the promotion of Glasgow Design Exchange through agreed communications where reasonably requested.
Event Management
Commercial Interiors UK reserves the right to amend the event timetable, participating studios, venues or meeting schedules where necessary to ensure the successful delivery of the event.
Every reasonable effort will be made to minimise disruption and communicate any changes promptly.
Photography & Marketing
Commercial Interiors UK may photograph or film the event for future marketing and promotional purposes.
By attending, participants consent to the use of photography and video unless they advise Commercial Interiors UK otherwise before the event.
Professional Conduct
All participants are expected to behave professionally, respectfully and in a manner that supports a positive experience for all attendees.
Commercial Interiors UK reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is considered inappropriate or detrimental to the event.
Preparation
To maximise the value of every meeting, ticket holders are encouraged to review the Design Studio Profiles in advance and tailor discussions to each studio's sectors, projects and areas of interest.
Glasgow Design Exchange has been designed to create meaningful commercial conversations rather than introductory sales meetings, and participants are encouraged to approach each appointment accordingly.
Force Majeure
Commercial Interiors UK shall not be liable for any delay, alteration or cancellation of the event arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Should the event need to be postponed or cancelled, Commercial Interiors UK will communicate with all participants at the earliest opportunity.
