Next Generation Awards 2026 brings the commercial interiors community together in Manchester

Commercial Interiors UK (CIUK) welcomed the commercial interiors community to Manchester on 23rd April 2026 for the Next Generation Awards, proudly sponsored by Silentnight Contract.

Held at Hallé St Peter’s in Ancoats, the evening brought together designers, manufacturers, accredited suppliers, educators and industry leaders for a night of connection, celebration and recognition. As one of CIUK’s key northern events, the awards answer a clear request from members for more opportunities to come together outside London, creating a vibrant Manchester gathering for the wider commercial interiors sector.

First and foremost, the Next Generation Awards is a networking event. While the evening celebrated outstanding student and member achievements, its purpose was to bring the industry together in a relaxed, social setting, offering valuable time to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new contacts.

Guests arrived from 7pm for a lively drinks reception before being called to dinner in the atmospheric surroundings of Hallé St Peter’s. Following a short welcome speech, attendees enjoyed a three-course dinner, conversation and informal networking, with the room reflecting the energy and warmth of a community keen to connect.

After dinner, attention turned to the awards presentation, which recognised the emerging talent helping to shape the future of commercial interiors. The Next Generation Awards shine a spotlight on individuals whose creativity, commitment, leadership and impact are already making a difference across the sector.

Following the awards, the evening moved from recognition into celebration as the DJ took over and guests filled the dance floor. The relaxed networking atmosphere continued late into the evening, with music, dancing and conversation creating the feel of a true industry party.

The event reflected the importance of creating spaces where members can come together, build relationships and celebrate shared success. Manchester provided the perfect backdrop for an evening shaped by energy and industry pride.

Commercial Interiors UK congratulate Cara, Sophie, Rachel, Jennifer and Martha on their achievements, and celebrate all of this year’s shortlisted nominees for their outstanding contributions.

Thanks are extended to Silentnight Contract for its valued support as event sponsor, and to everyone who joined us in Manchester to make the Next Generation Awards 2026 such a memorable celebration of people, place and future talent.
