HIX 2025 proved to be another powerful moment for hospitality design, and for Commercial Interiors UK (CIUK) it was an outstanding opportunity to bring members, partners and the wider design community together in meaningful and measurable ways.
As co-founding partner of HIX, CIUK was proud to play a central role throughout the show, creating multiple touchpoints for connection, insight and visibility. From the return of our exclusive Breakfast Networking Event to the continued success of the CIUK Member Map, stand presence and Design Insider talks programme, HIX 2025 delivered tangible value for members and reinforced CIUK’s position at the heart of the hospitality interiors sector.
CIUK Breakfast Networking Event
The CIUK Breakfast Networking Event set the tone for the second day of HIX, welcoming a full room of members, designers and hospitality professionals for an hour of relaxed but purposeful conversation.

Held before the show floor opened, the breakfast created space for genuine relationship-building away from the intensity of the exhibition hall. Over coffee and pastries, attendees reconnected with existing contacts, made new introductions and shared insights on current projects, challenges and opportunities across hospitality design. For CIUK, the breakfast reinforced the importance of curated networking and the strength of the community that continues to gather around our events.
Stand 72: A Consistent Hub for Support, Guidance and Discovery
Across the show, Stand 72 became a natural meeting point for both members and visitors. The CIUK team welcomed a steady flow of designers, specifiers and suppliers seeking guidance on navigating the show, discovering trusted brands and learning more about CIUK membership.

The stand functioned as a practical hub, offering digital Member Maps, clear member identification through on-stand tent cards, and one-to-one conversations with the CIUK team. For members, the stand provided increased visibility and credibility, helping designers more easily identify CIUK-accredited suppliers and reinforcing trust across the show floor.
The CIUK Member Map: Turning Visibility into Value
The 2025 CIUK Member Map once again proved its value as a practical, well-used resource. Featuring more than 40 CIUK member brands exhibiting at HIX, the map helped visitors plan efficient routes, discover new suppliers and identify trusted companies aligned with their project needs.

Supported by consistent messaging on the stand and clear on-stand tent cards, the map strengthened member recognition and drove meaningful footfall to participating brands. Feedback from both members and designers confirmed that the map actively influenced how people navigated the show.
Extending Value Beyond the Show Floor: Member Video Interviews
In addition to live engagement across the show, CIUK also focused on creating post-event value for members through dedicated video content.
Julie Desmette, Marketing Manager at CIUK filmed three on-stand interviews with CIUK members Curtis Furniture, Luma Mirrors and Camira. These interviews provide each brand with high-quality editorial video content that can be shared post-show across their own marketing channels, extending the momentum of HIX well beyond the event itself.
By capturing brand stories, project insights and key talking points while the industry was gathered in one place, CIUK helped participating members translate exhibition presence into longer-term promotional assets and ongoing visibility.
Insight and Influence with Design Insider Talks

Design Insider’s talks programme added further depth to CIUK’s presence at HIX, creating moments of reflection, learning and discussion amid the buzz of the show.
Across three well-attended sessions, conversations explored global perspectives, guest experience, wellness and longevity in hospitality design. Led by Editorial & Marketing Director Alys Bryan and featuring respected voices from across the industry, the talks attracted engaged audiences and sparked continued discussion beyond the stage. These sessions underscored CIUK’s commitment to thought leadership and meaningful editorial content, reinforcing the value of combining design conversation with commercial insight.
Delivering Real Value for Members
From start to finish, HIX 2025 demonstrated what happens when community, content and connection align. For CIUK, the show was about purpose: creating platforms that help members build relationships, gain visibility and do better business.
Whether through a conversation shared over breakfast, a chance encounter prompted by the Member Map, video content captured on-stand, or insight gained from a Design Insider talk, HIX 2025 delivered outcomes that extended well beyond the show floor.
As the hospitality sector continues to evolve, CIUK remains committed to supporting its members with opportunities that genuinely add value, and HIX continues to be a key stage on which that commitment comes to life.
