We're delighted to launch Glasgow Design Exchange, a brand-new event designed to create more meaningful connections between Commercial Interiors UK Accredited Members and Glasgow's thriving commercial interiors design community.
Glasgow is one of the UK's leading design cities, with a thriving creative community and an established reputation for commercial interiors excellence.
Taking place on Thursday 8th October 2026, Glasgow Design Exchange offers a contemporary approach to industry engagement, bringing together 14 leading Glasgow design studios and 14 ticket-holding Accredited Members for a day of structured meetings, future specification conversations, relationship building and high-quality networking.
Tickets are priced at £1,000 + VAT, with each ticket including two team members from your company. Both delegates attend the daytime studio meetings together and are included in the evening networking reception and three-course dinner.

Seven guaranteed meetings in one day
Each ticket provides seven guaranteed 30-minute meetings with senior designers, decision-makers and relevant product specialists.
Meetings take place within the participating design studios themselves, with ticket holders travelling between studios throughout the day. Every ticket holder will receive a personalised itinerary, studio addresses, travel guidance and maps to ensure they can move efficiently between appointments.
Each participating studio has committed to the programme in advance, meaning meetings are scheduled, expected and supported by the right people. This removes the usual risk of last-minute cancellations, unavailable decision-makers or meetings that do not deliver value.
Seven guaranteed meetings in one day makes Glasgow Design Exchange an exceptionally time-efficient way to strengthen existing relationships, introduce new products, improve product awareness and develop new commercial opportunities across Glasgow’s design community.
Ticket holders choose the studios they want to meet
Ahead of the event, each participating design studio will provide a detailed profile outlining their sectors, project focus, product interests and key team members.
Ticket holders will use these profiles to select the 12 studios they would most like to meet. CIUK will then create a personalised schedule, allocating seven confirmed meetings from their submitted preferences.

The conversations don't end there
Following the open studio programme, all participating design studios and ticket holders will come together at Design Exchange Glasgow for an exclusive networking reception and three-course dinner.
With designers remaining at their tables and ticket holders moving between courses, the evening has been designed to continue conversations from the day while introducing participants to the seven design studios they did not meet during the daytime programme.
By the end of the event, every ticket holder will have had the opportunity to connect with representatives from all 14 participating design studios.
