Commercial Interiors UK’s Summer Party London 2026 took to the water this year for a truly memorable evening aboard the Driftwoods River Yacht, bringing members and guests together for a sold-out celebration on the River Thames.

Held on Thursday 9th July, the event welcomed the commercial interiors community for an evening of networking, music, hospitality and spectacular views of the capital from one of London’s most iconic settings.

Guests boarded at Tower Bridge Quay before setting off on a continuous Thames cruise, taking in the city skyline from the water as the sun began to set. With London enjoying beautiful summer weather, the atmosphere on board was relaxed, warm and full of energy. The outside decking quickly became one of the most popular places to be, with many guests spending much of the evening outdoors, making the most of the sunshine, the river breeze and the stunning sunset views across the city.

The Driftwoods River Yacht provided a striking setting for this year’s reimagined summer celebration. Designed by Tom Dixon, the vessel’s sleek glass pavilion design framed London’s skyline beautifully throughout the evening, creating an elegant and contemporary backdrop for conversations, connections and celebration.

Music was provided by Clive Alive, a House Music DJ and Producer known for soulful house, deep grooves and uplifting energy. With his own background in the commercial interiors industry, and previous performances at events including Clerkenwell Design Week, Clive Alive brought a soundtrack that felt perfectly matched to the audience and the occasion. His philosophy, “House Music Built On Connection,” reflected the spirit of the evening, as guests came together to reconnect, meet new contacts and enjoy time with industry colleagues in a unique setting.

Throughout the cruise, guests enjoyed signature drinks and bowl food while travelling along the Thames, with the route showcasing some of London’s most recognisable landmarks between Greenwich and Westminster. As the evening moved from golden sunshine into sunset, the views from the deck became a real highlight, capturing the atmosphere of a summer celebration in the heart of the city.

The sold-out event was a fantastic opportunity to bring the commercial interiors community together in a setting that felt both special and informal. From lively conversations on the deck to music, drinks and skyline views, Summer Party London 2026 offered a memorable evening of networking and celebration.
Thank you to everyone who joined us aboard the Driftwoods River Yacht and helped make the evening such a success. We look forward to welcoming members and guests to future Commercial Interiors UK events soon.
