Commercial Interiors UK’s 2023 Northern Dinner took place on the 27th April at the Hallé St Peters, Ancoats, Manchester. An impressive building dating back to 1858, Hallé St. Peter’s has a rich and varied history. Significantly, it was our first Northern Dinner as Commercial Interiors UK since the re brand from the BCFA last November.
As the guests eagerly started arriving at the beautiful venue, it was evident that everyone was excited for an evening of networking alongside the delightful three course meal and entertainment ahead. Reception drinks were held in the upper room of the building, where guests caught up and shared laughs. This provided a perfect time for our members and their clients to build new connections and foster relationships with other commercial suppliers.
After the reception drinks, guests were seated for Jeremy Stein’s speech. The speech focused on the tough decision to move away from being the BCFA, but recognised the need for the new name and the important role that Commercial Interiors UK will play in supporting our members and the sector in the future. What has not changed is how we represent an unrivalled association of businesses who champion the best of UK interior, product design and lead on sustainability.
The event featured our new website cards, given to guests to access Commercial Interiors UK, Product Finder, The Annual Directory and Design Insider.
As the evening progressed guests were served a delicious three-course meal to accompany the many conversations being had which went down a treat!
'The Ambrassadors' were the chosen entertainment for the evening, consisting of an 8-Piece Brass band formed of young energetic musicians, playing old school classics all the way through to the newest pop releases with their own twist. Guests started flooding the dancefloor, grooving to all the classic songs that the band were playing!
Dancing carried on well into the night once the DJ started after the band had finished. The dancefloor provides a beautiful view of the room, lit up with multi coloured beams of light that provided the backdrop for a truly wonderful end to the evening.
The 2023 Northern Dinner was an unforgettable event, filled with conversations, laughs, great food and dancing!
