Commercial Interiors UK (CIUK) returns to the Business Design Centre for Surface Design Show 2026, with a focused programme designed to give members strong exposure to architects, designers and specifiers while reinforcing the value of CIUK’s accredited supply network.
Taking place from 3–5 February 2026, Surface Design Show is dedicated to surface material innovation and attracts more than 6,000 industry professionals exploring materials from 180+ exhibitors. CIUK’s presence this year centres on three key strands: material showcase, thought leadership and targeted networking.
Visit CIUK at Stand 626: Supplier Finder Material Library
CIUK’s Supplier Finder Material Library returns for 2026, expanded to include 32 accredited member brands, with five samples from each displayed at our Stand 626. The library is designed to make material exploration simple, tactile and specification-led. Designers are invited to engage directly with a wide range of surfaces, textiles, wallcoverings and finishes. QR codes will link directly to suppliers’ profiles on Supplier Finder, the UK’s only search platform for accredited commercial interior furnishing suppliers, enabling seamless follow-ups and fostering meaningful connections.
For members, inclusion in the library offers:

Main stage talk: materials in hospitality design
On Wednesday 4 February (12:30–13:15), CIUK Marketing Director Alys Bryan hosts a main-stage panel discussion titled: Hospitality by Design: Materials, Trends and Innovation
The session explores how material choices influence experience, performance and atmosphere in hospitality environments, bringing together perspectives from leading designers and studios. For CIUK members, this discussion places materials firmly within the wider design conversation, reinforcing their relevance at concept and specification stage.
Breakfast networking at Silent Gliss
CIUK’s programme continues on Thursday 5 February with a complimentary breakfast networking event hosted at the Silent Gliss showroom. The morning includes an introduction to The Harmony Suite, a guestroom concept developed by Studio Moren in collaboration with Silent Gliss. The installation demonstrates how craftsmanship, technology and supplier collaboration can come together to shape a responsive, considered hospitality environment.
