Commercial Interiors UK (CIUK), in partnership with the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT), is proud to lead the UK Creative Industries Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia, taking place at the INDEX Interiors & Design Show / Lighting Design & Technology Expo in Riyadh from 9–11 September 2025.
The mission will provide a platform for British manufacturers and suppliers to showcase their expertise across the hospitality, leisure, residential, tourism, and entertainment sectors, while supporting the development of new partnerships in one of the world’s most ambitious markets.
Showcasing UK Expertise at INDEX Riyadh
CIUK and DBT will host a dedicated UK Pavilion within the exhibition, with each participating company benefiting from the opportunity to highlight their products and services. This shared presence creates a strong, unified platform for UK design and interiors, reinforcing the international reputation of British creativity, quality, and innovation.

- Burgess Furniture – Pioneers in high-quality, versatile furniture for the hospitality industry.
- Loomah – Specialists in luxury bespoke carpets and rugs for residential and commercial spaces.

Together, these companies reflect the breadth of expertise across the UK interiors supply chain, from manufacturing and craftsmanship to lighting technology and interior design.
CIUK’s Role in Driving UK Export
For more than 25 years, CIUK has supported UK companies in building international business opportunities. Our export missions are designed to open doors to new markets, provide market intelligence and guidance, and connect UK companies directly with developers, operators, and specifiers seeking trusted partners.
In collaboration with DBT, our role is to remove barriers to export by:
- Providing a curated trade platform at leading international exhibitions.
- Facilitating face-to-face introductions with key decision-makers.
- Offering access to government trade support.
- Coordinating group visibility that maximises collective UK presence.
This approach has already proved successful across global markets, with CIUK-led missions helping members secure contracts for luxury hotels, cruise liners, and large-scale residential developments.
Why Saudi Arabia, Why Now?
Saudi Arabia is undergoing a period of extraordinary growth through its Vision 2030 programme, investing heavily in tourism, leisure, and hospitality as part of a strategy to diversify its economy. Mega-projects such as NEOM, the Red Sea Project, and Qiddiya highlight the Kingdom’s commitment to world-class design and interiors.
British companies are uniquely positioned to meet this demand with their proven expertise in craftsmanship, sustainable solutions, and design-led innovation. The 2025 Trade Mission will enable our delegates to present their skills and products to a rapidly expanding market at exactly the right time.
Looking Ahead
As the voice of the commercial interiors sector, CIUK is proud to facilitate this mission, supporting our members and other UK companies in expanding their international reach and strengthening the UK’s reputation for design and interiors excellence.
By uniting government support with industry expertise, we ensure that British creativity and manufacturing remain at the forefront of global projects, delivering value not only for our members but also for international partners seeking trusted solutions.
The UK Creative Industries Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia is a gateway to long-term relationships and opportunities in one of the world’s most dynamic markets.
