CIUK Expands Global Connections at NEWH EU/UK Leadership Conference in Paris

Commercial Interiors UK (CIUK) is proud to be strengthening international relationships and expanding its expertise within the global hospitality sector at the NEWH EU/UK Leadership Conference in Paris on Monday, 23 June 2025. This prestigious, one-day event brings together leading hospitality professionals from the UK, France, Canada, Italy, and the United States to share insights, spark innovation, and shape the industry conversation.

As part of CIUK’s active presence at the event, our media partner Design Insider is taking a central role in the conference programme. Alys Bryan, Editorial Director of Design Insider, will moderate the panel discussion “Hospitality Disruptors: Taking Hotels to the Next Level”, a compelling session spotlighting bold innovators reshaping the global hospitality experience. Panellists include William Dowling (Development, EMEA, Virgin Group), Sylvain Morgaine (Vice President, Innovation Lab, Accor), and Nicolas Stachowiak (VP Development, Ennismore), each representing brands known for their boundary-pushing concepts and creative risk-taking.

This discussion will explore how these trailblazers are redefining the guest journey through innovation in design, operations, and experiential storytelling. From tech-driven personalization to disruptive brand positioning and unexpected design narratives, the panel will examine how the next generation of hospitality experiences is being crafted. Alys, a seasoned moderator at many of the UK’s premier commercial interiors events, will guide the conversation to ensure rich, actionable insights for the audience, Design Insider readers, and the broader CIUK community.

CIUK’s participation at the Leadership Conference underscores our commitment to engaging with global markets, enriching our understanding of international commercial sectors, and fostering meaningful connections with top-tier design and operational leaders. Our presence at this international event ensures we stay aligned with global developments, while also sharing the strength and creativity of UK design on the world stage.

From high-impact keynotes to thought-provoking panels, the conference agenda is packed with relevant themes, spanning adaptive reuse, fashion’s influence on hospitality, and the evolving landscape of food and beverage design. Of particular interest to CIUK are the discussions on sustainability, culturally responsive design, and elevated travel experiences across land, sea, and rail.

The evening concludes with a themed dinner sponsored by Material Bank, celebrating “Mocha Mousse: Pantone Color of the Year” under the theme The Art of Living 2025, a vibrant close to a day of learning, networking, and inspiration.

Through events like this, CIUK continues to grow its global network, access fresh perspectives, and bring valuable insights back to our members, partners, and readers.
