About the role:

Generating new sales and business opportunities within the Contract Sector

Developing and managing a portfolio of existing customers to ensure profitable sales.

Successfully delivering the areas sales plan in line with the overall business strategy

Effectively managing customer relationships

Targeting and winning new business

Achieve sales targets as agreed for the region

Provide quotations, pricing and product information in order to secure sales

Sales forecasting on a regular basis

Attend exhibitions and seminars to promote the products.

Project research and lead generation

Expected qualifications and experience:

Previous experience in the Contract Furniture sales sector

Experience selling to Group and Independent hotels, A&D Sector, Universities, Care Sector, Leisure, and Procurement Companies.

A high level of new business development experience                                            

Experience of “cold calling” and telephone sales                                          

Target driven  

Excellent negotiation skills

Ability to work on own & in a team                                                                            

Excellent Organisational skills                                                                                   

Account management                                                                                               

Financially aware (costs & margins)                                                                         

Accurate with good attention to detail                                                                       

Intermediate/Advanced skill of MS Office                                                                 

Quick learner

A proven track record of success in a field-based new and existing business Sales role

A strong personal network of end user contacts across the South West Region

Strong negotiation and closing skills

Proven ability to meet and exceed ambitious but realistic KPI and Sales targets
